Islamic Development Bank Delegation Visits Tabaterra’s Production Facility

A delegation led by Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, visited the Garabagh region as part of an official visit to Azerbaijan. The delegation’s program included a visit to Aghdam Industrial Park, where they familiarized themselves with the ongoing industrial development initiatives and production activities carried out by resident companies.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured Tabaterra’s tobacco production facility. During the visit, guests were introduced to the company’s production processes, technological capabilities, and the factory’s contribution to industrial development and employment generation in the region.

The visit was attended by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and other officials accompanying the Islamic Development Bank delegation. Discussions during the visit focused on industrial development, export-oriented manufacturing, investment opportunities, and the broader economic revitalization of Garabagh.

Tabaterra’s production facility in Aghdam represents an important industrial investment contributing to the economic recovery and sustainable development of the liberated territories.

The visit highlighted growing international interest in the reconstruction and economic transformation of Garabagh, as well as the strategic importance of industrial projects being implemented in the region.
